Jakub Kiwior has revealed that former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny cannot watch the current team play because it makes him too ‘stressed’.
Szczesny spent 11 years at Arsenal from 2006 to 2017, winning two FA Cups during his time at the club as well as the Premier League Golden Glove in 2014.
The 33-year-old left Arsenal for Italian side Juventus seven years ago but the Gunners clearly still have a special place in his heart.
Szczesny is currently on international duty for Poland with current Arsenal defender Kiwior, with the nation set to face Estonia on Thursday night.
Arsenal are involved in a tense Premier League title race this season and Kiwior says Szczesny is unable to watch as he’s too emotionally invested in the team.

‘When I came to Poland and met Wojtek [Szczesny], he told me: please win, please win,’ Kiwior told TVP Sport.
‘He told me he can’t watch Arsenal games, because it makes him stressed.’

Kiwior was praised by Arsenal legend Lee Dixon for his performance in the north Londoners’ last game – a 1-0 second-leg Champions League win over Porto.
Arsenal return to action on March 31 when they face Premier League title rivals Manchester City, a match which Pep Guardiola has described as a ‘final’.
‘We have a final against Arsenal,’ Guardiola said. ‘When we come back [from the international break], we have three days to prepare for the game. Let’s go.’
