Youri Tielemans seen furiously punching Wembley seats after dramatic England equaliser

Youri Tielemans scored twice as Belgium played out a thrilling draw with England but he was furious as Jude Bellingham scored a last-gasp equaliser for the Three Lions

Belgium star Youri Tielemans was seen punching the Wembley dugout seats in response to Jude Bellingham's last-gasp equaliser for England.

Tielemans had scored twice in the first half to put Belgium in control of Monday's friendly game. Though England pushed hard, they had failed to find a way through as the game headed into injury time.

But in the dying moments, James Maddison pulled the ball back to Bellingham, with the midfielder slotting in an equaliser. That led to wild celebrations as England celebrated a deserved draw.

Belgium meanwhile were left dejected as they saw a win slip through their finger tips. Tielemans in particular was left furious as his team-mates threw away what would have been their first win at Wembley.

The Aston Villa midfielder stood as Bellingham scored before turning to lightly push Romelu Lukaku. He then turned towards the dugout seats and delivered three furious punches before turning back around and shouting in anger.

England boss Southgate meanwhile punched the air in celebration after seeing his side impress in a thrilling draw. He was left pleased with the hosts character in fighting back so late on.

"I thought we controlled the game, we created a lot of chances, so the piece of our game that wasn't right against Brazil, the final-third play, tonight was much better. We conceded poor goals and were vulnerable in transition," he told beIN Sports.

"But that's the trade off with the profile of the players we had on the pitch. But the character shown and the quality shown, I think we really deserved to take something from the game. We're very happy with the squad we've got, we've got some exciting players.

"There's a lot to work out because frankly we don't know who's going to be available. There's still a big chunk of the season to play but these two games have been a great exercise to us. We've tested players against top level opposition."

England's saviour Bellingham was relieved to see his side recover to secure a positive result. The Real Madrid superstar believes the Three Lions are still in a positive position heading into this summer's Euros.

"Yeah I liked it because I knew the rubbish we would have got if we'd have lost two games on the bounce. With these games, you have to keep perspective because there's a lot of lads making debuts," he told Channel 4.

"A lot of those boys I've never played with before. We had a lot of chances, I had the one there and a couple of others that I should score. I'm happy I could make it up to the team but really we should be winning with all the chances that we made."
