It's the big one. Manchester United vs Liverpool.

United got one over their bitter rivals three weeks ago when they came from behind to win an FA Cup classic 4-3. That may have ended Liverpool's hopes of a quadruple, but make no mistake, they are still very much in the hunt to add two more trophies to the Carabao Cup that is already in the bag.

The Reds host Atalanta in the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night. But for now their sole concentration is on a swift return to Old Trafford for a huge Premier League showdown.

Should Jurgen Klopp win on what will be his final appearance as Liverpool boss at the home of their biggest foes, it would take his side back to the top of the Premier League table with seven games of the season to play.

So what are the pundits saying about this afternoon's massive match? Let's see...

Harry Redknapp

“What a game that was against Chelsea, but how on earth did Manchester United lose that at the end? Some of the defending was just woeful,” the former Tottenham Hotspur boss told BetVictor. "I thought they were shambolic against Brentford as well and this is now a massive game for Erik ten Hag.

“I’m sure Jurgen Klopp will be frustrated not to keep a clean sheet but that was another comfortable night at Anfield in the end against Sheffield United. I know the FA Cup tie was a thriller and United came out on top, but I can’t see that happening again. United have been all over the place at the back and Liverpool are too good and too motivated right now.

When naming his one to watch, Redknapp added: “Alexis Mac Allister has been outstanding recently – he’s been as good as anyone in the league. That goal against Sheffield during the week was like a vintage Steven Gerrard strike! I know the lad is a World Cup winner, but I don’t think people realise just how good he is.”

Redknapp's prediction: Manchester United 1-3 Liverpool

Chris Sutton

“You really cannot deny that Manchester United seem to up their game when they face Liverpool, which would make me really angry if I were a United fan How about playing like that in a few other games?” the former Blackburn Rovers striker told BBC Sport.

“I was at Stamford Bridge for Manchester United's last-gasp defeat by Chelsea on Thursday and heard their manager Erik ten Hag talk afterwards about how his side are making progress.I just don't see it that way.

“Alejandro Garnacho really impressed me at Stamford Bridge but I worry about United defensively. With what is at stake for Liverpool now, I don't see United keeping them out.

“It won't be a runaway victory but my feeling is it is going to be third time lucky for Jurgen Klopp's side against United this season, after a draw and a defeat in their first two meetings.”

Sutton’s prediction: Manchester United 1-3 Liverpool

Ian Wright

"I fear for Man United," Arsenal legend Wright said on his Ringer FC podcast. "I just feel like Liverpool will be much more focused than they were in that FA Cup game and be even more ruthless.

"We know United can be ruthless and [Alejandro] Garnacho alone is going to be a threat. But Liverpool will want to go there and put them in their place.

"I worry for United because I can see another big hiding, I could see them getting a good hiding to be honest. It’s not like Old Trafford is a fortress anymore. If Liverpool come and have their heads on it could be a massive worry for United."

Wright prediction : Liverpool win
