Tim Sherwood rips into Arsenal star and moans 'what the hell is that man thinking about'
Kai Havertz was in fine form for Arsenal as they beat Brighton 3-0 in the Premier League on Saturday evening, but the German has been criticised for his actions after the match
Ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood tore into Kai Havertz for his post-match antics after Arsenal's 3-0 win over Brighton.
Despite bagging a goal and an assist to help the Gunners reclaim their spot at the top of the Premier League in Saturday's (April 6) clash, the 24-year-old caught some flak for handing over his shirt to a Brighton coach after the final whistle.
The German ace has been on fire lately, with five goals and four assists in his last seven league games, trailing only behind Cole Palmer's 11 goal contributions during the same span, the Mirror reports.

Yet, Sherwood wasn't having any of it when he spotted Havertz giving his kit to Brighton's Marcattilio Marcattili, as he vented on HUB Premier 1's telly broadcast: "Interesting there I see Kai Havertz giving his shirt to the assistant manager of Brighton," blasting: "I can't have that. What the hell is that man thinking about?"
Mikel Arteta has hinted that Havertz's future at the club could be leading the line after his impressive performances as a No. 9, saying: "Yes. A lot of times the players decide where they have to play. You can have certain ideas but then you see certain relationships and it flows. When it flows you have to let it go.

"That's what is happening with Kai at the moment, and he feels really comfortable there. The team is really comfortable with him there and the rest has happened naturally. He's certainly having a huge impact on the team. His overall performances have been really good and now his numbers for goal contributions are really high."
However, despite Havertz's scintillating form, Arteta has issued a stark reminder that he must keep up the momentum in their upcoming games, stating: "He needs to maintain that" before adding: "I think his understanding with the attacking players was superb. I think they had real purpose and connection and a lot of clarity on where to attack and we created many chances".
Arteta also praised the environment around Havertz and paid tribute to the German's team-mates as he said: "He has some fantastic players around him and we have tried to create the right environment for him, which I think is very important for any player, that they feel confident and we hopefully give him the love he needs.
"He has the admiration of the rest of the players and staff at the club and now the supporters of our club, for sure."
