Gabriel Agbonlahor has named the striker Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur simply have to sign in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are having a very good season and could end up fourth in the Premier League table.

Spurs are fourth in the standings at the moment. The North London club have picked up 60 points from 31 matches.

Tottenham are level on points with fifth-placed Aston Villa, who have played 32 games and will take on league leaders Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend. The Gunners are expected to win the match.

Former Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, though, believes that Tottenham still need to sign a striker in the summer transfer window.

The talkSPORT pundit has said that Brazil international forward Richarlison is not good enough to start week in and week out for Tottenham and has urged Spurs to do their best to sign Ivan Toney from London and Premier League rivals Brentford.

Since his return from a ban in January, Toney, 28, has scored four goals and given one assist in 12 Premier League starts for Brentford.

Gabriel Agbonlahor urges Tottenham Hotspur to sign Ivan Toney

Agbonlahor said about Tottenham and Toney on talkSPORT: “Spurs should be going all out for him. They can’t keep Rcharlison, who I don’t think is good enough for them.

“Yeah, Son on the left, you have Toney down the middle, you can got Maddison in the middle, on the right you have options – you have Kulusevski, Johnson, whoever you want to play, whoever else you may want to bring in there.”

Ivan Toney available for £50 million

Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Ivan Toney in the summer transfer window for £50 million.

HITC revealed this week that Brentford’s asking price for the England international striker has dropped.

The Bees were looking for £80 million in the January transfer window, but the London club are now ready to accept £50 million for the former Newcastle United prospect.
