Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall roles revealed ahead of crunch Newcastle clash vs Spurs
Newcastle United have welcomed back Tino Livramento for their encounter against Spurs at St James' Park
Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe was able to welcome back both Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall against Tottenham Hotspur at St James' Park - but neither were considered ready to start.
Livramento is back from an ankle injury but only fit enough for a place on the bench, while Hall was also only deemed capable of starting from a supporting role. It meant that Howe named Jacob Murphy from the start while Emil Krafth, Fabian Schar and Dan Burn also featured in the defensive rearguard.

Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes and Elliot Anderson made up the midfield and Harvey Barnes was again back in from the start. Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon also gave Newcastle some bite in attack.
Hall had not trained through the week due to a muscle injury after finally getting his chance due to further defensive issues. Joe Willock was missing with an achilles injury suffered against Fulham during last weekend's 1-0 win at Fulham.
Newcastle were aiming for a place in the top six with a victory enough to lift them into a Europa League spot for a few hours at least.
