Matt Le Tissier looks baffled at bloke who reckons JFK and Princess Diana are in protection

Southampton icon and conspiracy theorist Matt Le Tissier joined numerology believer 'Tom Numbers' for a chat which included claims that Johan Cruyff, JFK and Princess Diana could still be alive

Matt Le Tissier was left looking baffled after being told Johan Cruyff and JFK could still be alive – and potentially in witness protection programmes.

The Southampton legend and former Sky Sports pundit, who has aired some outlandish theories himself in the past, appeared as a guest on the Psych Club hosted by ‘Tom Numbers’, AKA Tom Sidney Bushnell. During their hour-long discussion, Numbers used his belief in numerology to claim that Dutch football icon Cruyff, former US president John F. Kennedy and Princess Diana could all still be alive.

The death of Cruyff from lung cancer at the age of 68 was announced in 2016, JFK was killed by an assassin’s bullet in Dallas in 1963 while Diana died following a car crash in a Paris tunnel in 1997. But Numbers reckons their deaths may have been staged.

Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

Using the theory of numerology – the belief in a mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events – Numbers spouted: “Basically, Johan Cruyff plus April 26 in numbers comes to 365. 365 comes to the witness protection programme.

“You heard it here first. I have a feeling Johan is not gone. That might upset people, it might give people a lot of hope. I think he’s not gone, I think he’s one that will share the truth down the line.”

Numbers also made bold predictions about Diana and JFK, who would be 106 if he was in fact still alive. He added: “I think there’s a whole bunch of them coming back, that’s my feeling, my intuition, people like Diana, JFK junior. Maybe even JFK, I know that sounds like a weird one.

“We’ve talked about a lot of weird stuff but I believe Johan Cruyff… because bad ones use numbers. But in my experience, also good ones use numbers.”

He then said: “How about this one? November 5, the return of Princess Diana, 88mph. The return of Princess Diana, 282. 282 is 88mph and it’s all to do with November 5. Anyway, we’ll see what happens but that’s my feelings.”

A bemused-looking Le Tissier then faced the camera and said wryly: “You heard it here first. If he doesn’t happen”, while pointing to Numbers.
