SAINTS have been forced into a late change to their lineup, with Gavin Bazunu injured in the warm-up.
Alex McCarthy has stepped into the starting team, despite Joe Lumley initially being named on the bench.
Saints host Preston North End at St Mary's in an 8pm kick-off - the match is their penultimate home fixture of the Championship season.
Bazunu left the pitch during the warm-up moving gingerly and clutching his leg. Manager Russell Martin will issue an update at full-time.
