NICO RASKIN’s recent disappearance is one of the mysteries of the Scottish football season.

The Belgian star hit the ground running as an Ibrox star under Michael Beale last season but he hasn’t started a game since the 2-1 home defeat to Motherwell.

And he wasn’t sighted at all during the 3-3 Old Firm draw with Celtic – and didn’t make it off the bench against Ross County in the Highlands.

That is despite the Gers ostensibly being desperate for another all purpose central midfielder capable of shoring things up alongside John Lundstram in Dingwall.

It’s certainly a fair while since the midfielder did anything memorable in a Rangers jersey.

It had been thought working under his countryman Philippe Clement might bring the best out in Raskin – but instead it seems to be going the other way.

“Let’s be honest, you know I’m a fan of Raskin, but he’s not done well this year.

“It’s at the point where you think Raskin is away in the summer.
