JASON CUMMINGS has pledged his future to Mohun Bagan and revealed he will stay in India for another year at least.
The former Hibs, Rangers and Dundee star made the lucrative move to the Kolkata club a year ago following a hugely successful spell with Central Coast Mariners where he helped them to a Grand Final success in Australian football.
This season, the former Scotland international who changed allegiances to play for Australia, was a losing finalist in the Indian Super League Final, where he scored a goal in a 3-1 defeat to Mumbai City.
But he won the Indian Super League League Shield with the club and will play in the Asian Champions League next season.
He was his club's top scorer this season with 12 goals and was third top scorer in India.
And the 28-year-old admitted he had no hesitation of extending his stay with Mohun Bagan.

Cummings said: "I am looking forward to next season
"We will come back stronger. I am waiting for that. We have a big challenge in the Champions League next season now.
"We certainly have the ability to compete in it, although we still have a lot to learn.
"I'm off to enjoy a holiday now because it's been a long season. I will return to my country and spend time with my family, relatives and friends.

"Of course, it was disappointing to lose a Final, but I think Mumbai City deserved it, they played well. That's how it is in football. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Such is life.
"But we won the Shield this season and we have had a good season."
