Ben Foster makes bold Wrexham prediction and shows elite mentality of Ryan Reynolds' side
Wrexham have been promoted in each of the last two seasons and Ben Foster is backing the Hollywood-owned club to make it a hat-trick in 2024/25
Ben Foster has confidently predicted more success for Wrexham under the ownership of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Foster believes his former club, who are celebrating their second consecutive promotion to League One, have the potential to secure a third successive promotion. The Red Dragons have already let go of several key players from the past two seasons to make room for higher-quality replacements needed for the third tier, reports the Mirror.
If they manage to secure the right players, Foster is convinced another promotion is on the horizon. Speaking on his Fozcast podcast, Foster said: "It's hard to replace that level of person in the changing room."

However, he believes Wrexham can do it due to their recruitment policy which prioritises character over skill. He said: "If one club can do it, Wrexham can do it because their recruitment policy is: 'We recruit people first and they have to be good at football'."
When asked about the possibility of another promotion in 2024/25, the former Manchester United didn't hesitate to express his optimism, adding: "I think they're going to do it, I really do. I think they're going to invest in half-a-dozen really good players. Solid people, solid professionals that are going to raise the standard a little bit more.

"What they've got in that team anyway is League One level. If they add more quality, more experience, they're going to be there or thereabouts again come the end of the season.
"I guarantee you, the owners, manager [Phil Parkinson], the coaching staff and even some of the players will not be thinking about solidifying. They'll be thinking they want to at least be knocking on the doors of the play-offs."
