GREG TAYLOR reckons Celtic proved they are a different animal now after a wild ride in the Premiership.

The Hoops’ 2-1 win over Rangers has left them six points clear at the top of the table with a superior goal difference, with just two games remaining.

“But it’s important to recognise that there’s still football left in this season for us.

“That’s the real focus in that changing room.

“We know there is still a job to be done in the league and then it’s about hopefully taking some good form into the Scottish Cup final.”

Celts have lost on both their previous visits to Rugby Park this season.

They crashed out of the Viaplay Cup after a shock 1-0 defeat in August.

    And their title defence suffered a blow when they lost 2-1 in December.

    Taylor reckons they have a score to settle with his old side, who secured a Europa League spot with Saturday’s 1-0 victory at St Mirren.

    He added: “We want to win the game, of course we do. It’s the next game and that’s always the most important one.

    “We know now that we can win the league in that game, so the focus is on going down there to try and win.

    “But it’s at a difficult venue against a team who have done really well this season.”
