Defender Stephen Welsh couldn't resist taking a swipe at Rangers with a cheeky throwback clip after Celtic made it three titles in a row.

The 5-0 thumping of Kilmarnock put an end to the title challenge from Philippe Clement's men as Celtic racked up their 12th success in 13 years - with the party atmosphere carrying on long into the night. The celebrations started after the full-time whistle at Rugby Park - and went all the way back to Glasgow's east end with Brendan Rodgers and his players lapping up the plaudits from the Parkhead support on the Celtic Way.

And centre-back Welsh was clearly enjoying his moment as he took to social media to noise up their rivals after becoming a Premiership champion once again. On his Instagram, he shared a snap of Aiden McGeady's infamous dressing room wind-up of the Light Blues following the 2008 title win - their third in a row at the time.

In the clip, McGeady says while cradling the trophy: "Unlucky Rangers. Three in a row. Sorry." Darren O'Dea then cuts in laughing before McGeady rounds off while chuckling: "Three in a row!"
