Roberto Firmino has copied Liverpool star Mohamed Salah with a surprise new hairstyle
Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has debuted a new daring look days after Mohamed Salah shocked fans.
The Brazilian was a hit on Merseyside for his goalscoring exploits in Jurgen Klopp's Premier League and Champions League-winning squads but was also known for his flamboyant hairstyles and bright, white smile. Firmino called time on his Liverpool career last season after moving to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli upon the expiry of his contract at Anfield.
In 362 appearances for the Reds, Firmino found the back of the net 111 times including two goals in as many matches against Aston Villa and Southampton at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

A post emerged on X showing Firmino's new look as he walked into the stadium for their clash at home against Al-Fayha. Firmino was all smiles as he arrived at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium showcasing his braids, accompanied by the tweet: "Roberto Firmino with a new look before facing Al-Fayhaa."
Firmino follows in the footsteps of Salah, who stunned supporters after shaving his hair as he settles down in the off-season. The Egyptian was wearing a matching beige shirt and shorts sporting a new haircut that is considerably shorter than what he had for his final appearance of the season.
The 32-year-old had a strong start to life in the Saudi Pro League, taking the captaincy after his move from Liverpool and scoring twice in an 18-0 win for Al-Ahli. However, his form in the Middle East suffered a slump ending a six-month goal drought in February.
After his departure, Klopp emphasised how much of a miss the Brazilian forward would be to his squad. He said: "He is so integral for everything what happened here in my time. I think he is still the player who started most games even when recently he didn’t start that often.
"It’s just that I couldn’t imagine for a long, long time how our game would look without him. So, we had to find ways when he was not available and we came through these spells: Sadio [Mane] last year, for example, did exceptional, did that really well.
"But yes, as a person, as a human, as a boy, I will miss him. As a player we all will miss him, but anyway I think it’s the right way to part ways: very respectful, with tears in our eyes and with the knowledge that we will definitely miss each other because it will be the other way around the same."
