Olympiacos head into the final, being played in their home city, having lost just one of their last 12 matches in all competitions, and fresh from defeating pre-tournament favourites Aston Villa 6-2 on aggregate in the semi finals.

Goals tend to follow both teams wherever they go of late, with 12 goals having been scored in Fiorentina's last three matches, while Olympiacos' last six matches in Europe have seen a combined 26 goals.

El Kaabi is two goals clear at the top of the Europa Conference League's scoring charts this season with 10 goals in just eight games, including five across two legs of the semi final win over Aston Villa.

The Morocco international has 32 goals in all competitoins this season.

Fiorentina head into their second successive Europa Conference League final as odds on favourites for victory in Athens on Wednesday night.

Vincenzo Italiano's side fell short in last year's final in Prague, being beaten 2-1 by West Ham, and will see this season's attempt as a fantastic opportunity to make it second time lucky.

The Italian side have lost just one of their last seven matches ahead of their trip to the Greek capital, a run in which they've won four, and guaranteed themselves an eighth-placed finish in Serie A, which has secured qualification for next season's Conference League.

Victory on Wednesday night though will see the winner guaranteed a place in next season's Europa League group stage.

I Viola will be looking for their first piece of silverware since winning the Coppa Italia in 2001, and just their second ever European trophy having won the Cup Winners' Cup in 1961.

Their Europa Conference League campaign started way back in August with a 1-0 defeat to Rapid Vienna in the first leg of the play-off round before managing to overturn to the deficit in the second leg to book their place in the group stage.

The Italian side finished top of Group F which contained Ferencvaros, Genk and Cukaricki, before beating Maccabi Haifa, Viktoria Plzen and Club Brugge to book their ticket to Athens.

Standing in their way are an Olympiacos side who will be playing in their home city, albeit not their home stadium, who are dreaming of winning their first ever European title.

Jose Luis Mendilibar's side head into potentially the biggest match in the club's history having lost just one of their last 12 matches in all competitions, which saw them secure a third place finish in the Greek Super League, securing their participation in next season's Conference League.

Like Fiorentina though, Thrylos will be aiming for a victory on Wednesday night that will not only secure a first ever European trophy but also a place in next season's Europa League group stage.

The Greek side started their European campaign in the Europa League qualifying rounds, defeating Genk and Cukaricki, who both ended up in Fiorentina's Europa Conference League group, in reach the group stage of UEFA's secondary club competition.

A third place finish in Group A behind West Ham and Freiburg, but ahead of Serbia side TSC, saw them transfer to the Europa Conference League knockout rounds, in which the Greeks saw off Ferencvaros, the other side in Fiorentina's group, in the play-offs.

Olympiacos then booked their place in their 'home' final by getting the better of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Fenerbahce, before surprising many in knocking out the favourites Aston Villa in the semi finals.

Wednesday's match will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides.
