Tottenham have announced that they will play Team K League as part of their pre-season tour of Asia this summer.

The fixture will see Spurs take on a team consisting of players from South Korea's top tier on Wednesday, July 31 as part of their preparations for the 2024/25 campaign. The match will be the opening round of the Coupang Play Series 2024 with kick-off set for 8pm Korean local time (12pm BST).

Tottenham's second pre-season game in Asia will be against Bayern Munich on Saturday, August 3 with kick-off also at 8pm. Both fixtures in South Korea will take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium after the club's fixture against Vissel Kobe at the Japan National Stadium on Saturday, July 27.

Spurs previously faced Team K League as part of their pre-season tour in 2022 with Heung-Min Son scoring twice in a 6-3 win.

Speaking after the pre-season tour of Asia was announced in April, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said: “I’m delighted to be taking Tottenham Hotspur to Japan this summer for an exciting fixture against Vissel Kobe. This friendly will be another step in our preparations for the 2024/25 season.

“Japan is a country I know well from my time managing there. It is full of passionate football fans and I’m looking forward to the players not only sampling the atmosphere of the Japan National Stadium but also experiencing some local culture and supporting good causes while we are there.”
