Rangers will face English outfit Birmingham City in a memorial match for Trevor Francis as part of their pre-season preparations with Philippe Clement’s men also taking on German Bundesliga side Union Berlin.

Record Sport exclusively revealed last month that Rangers were being lined up for a trip to St Andrews with Birmingham City keen to arrange a fixture against one of Francis’ former clubs following his passing last year. The game takes place on the first anniversary of his death, July 24, with the game at St Andrew’s kicking off at 7.45pm.

Rangers then face Union Berlin in the German capital three days later with a 5pm kick off local time. The Germans competed in the Champions League last season and the game, just a week ahead of the big Scottish Premiership kick off, takes place in the Stadion An deal Alten Forsterei.
