Flavius Daniliuc
The 23-year-old is the latest defender to be linked with Celtic. Multiple reports in Germany state the Premiership champions Daniliuc are sweet on a player who could be on the move. The Austria international – who will star at Euro 2024 – returned to his homeland for a six-month loan with Salzburg but remains under contract with relegated Serie A side Salernitana until 2026. Salzburg retains an option to buy and the former Real Madrid academy star is set for a decision on his future. Daniliuc – who played with Nicolas Kuhn at Bayern Munich – is looking to find a permanent home after the big tournament in Germany.
Martin Dubravka
Odd man out Martin Dubravka is on the Celtic wanted list, as revealed by Record Sport on Monday night. Rodgers is on the lookout for a new keeper and the Slovakia international could be the man. James Trafford is inbound to Newcastle, with the Geordies closing in on a £15m move for the Burnley man while Nick Pope is also ahead of Dubravka at St James’ Park.
Dubravka is a wanted man and will be allowed to leave after six years on Tyneside - with a loan with Manchester United in there too. Celtic could face a battle for the former Sparta Prague shotstopper with several clubs on the continent and at least two Saudi sides interested in him.
Sead Haksabanovic
Even the most ardent critic of the Celtic board would find it tough to criticise those in charge when it comes to maximising revenue from sales. And the Premiership champions could be set to turn a profit on unwanted winger Sead Haksabanovic. The £1.6m arrival from Rubin Kazan is on the radar of Parma in a £2m deal.
The wide man toiled at struggling Stoke City last season and a permanent exit from Parkhead appears on the cards. And a move to the newly-promoted Serie A side would be quite the transfer. It could pave the way for a summer of fringe men seeking new challenges.
Adam Idah
Liam Scales is an amiable type and it's been hard to wipe the smile off his face in the wake of his key role in a double-winning side. Scales played it cool over the Norwich man Adam Idah chances of turning his Celtic loan into a permanent deal. Scales said: "100 per cent. I want him to stay. Every Celtic fan and everyone at the club would love to have him back. He was outstanding but a lot of things have to go right for that to happen but hopefully it will."
