Scotland and Germany fans swap shirts as Cologne falls in love with Tartan Army

A DIE-HARD FC Koln fan showed his love of Scotland by swapping shirts with a delighted Tartan Army foot soldier.
Stefan Kuelborn, 36, already had a soft spot for Scotland because his beloved side sing their own version of Runrig’s classic Loch Lomond at home games.
And when thousands of Scots roared into his home city he didn't want to miss the chance to get his hands on our national jersey.
And Andy Turnbull jumped at the chance to show his mutual affection for Cologne which has become a home-from-home Euros party zone.
Stefan said: “I’m from Cologne and a diehard FC Koln fan and I wanted to welcome the fans of Scotland here in our beautiful city and make a big connection with them.
“We would have had a big sing-a-long together but unfortunately due to weather conditions it was not possible.
“So my goal is to find some fans from the Scottish team and get to know each other, chat a little bit and change the jersey from my home team and from your team.”
The Scottish Sun stepped in and found a The Tartan Army man who was up for the swap.
Andy, 33, from Glasgow didn’t have to be asked twice as he joked: “I’m quite fat by the way.”
The duo raised a laugh and earned cheers from other supporters before Stefan kicked off a rendition of ‘No Scotland, No Party’ to seal the deal.
Andy added: “This has been a once-in-a-lifetime trip and I’m really enjoying all the fans and I’m loving Germany.
“They are greater hosts so thank you all and enjoy yourselves guys.”
