Switzerland forward Kwadwo Duah is preparing for his side's quarter-final against England at Euro 2024, and at a press conference he was asked about team-mate Xherdan Shaqiri's goal against Scotland compared to Jude Bellingham's overhead kick against Slovakia. Perhaps unsurprisingly he picked Shaqiri's long-range effort as the better of the two strikes.

Switzerland striker Kwadwo Duah thinks that Xherdan Shaqiri’s strike against Scotland was superior to Jude Bellingham’s strike against Slovakia.
Shaqiri’s effort came in the group stages, when the veteran playmaker fired a curling one-touch effort past the goalkeeper from the edge of the box.
Bellingham’s overhead kick kept England in the Euros as he levelled for Gareth Southgate’s men in injury time, before Harry Kane claimed the winner early in extra time.
The Swiss beat Italy 2-0 in their first knockout tie to set up a quarter-final clash with the Three Lions, and while there is a wave of optimism around an overperforming Switzerland squad, the English support appear to be losing faith after four indifferent performances in Germany so far.
Speaking at a press conference, Duah compared the two goals from the countries’ respective star men.
He answered: "The goal of Xherdan Shaqiri was better. It was harder to score than [Jude] Bellingham's. So it's nicer.
"It was a goal that helped us a lot. Shaqiri has already scored many beautiful goals. And, I say it again, his goal was nicer."

There have been calls to give Cole Palmer a more prominent role under Southgate, and the Ludogorets Razgrad player revealed he was a Chelsea fan, and pointed out that Palmer is a man in form.
"Of course I know English football. Also, I'm a big Chelsea fan. My idol is Didier Drogba. I follow English football,” he said.
"I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Cole Palmer. He did a very good season last year. I also wonder why he isn't playing. Because his stats were perfect, in my opinion. Let's see if he starts this week."
