Attacker linked
Cardiff are one of three clubs reportedly tracking Exeter striker Millenic Alli.
Football Insider report the Bluebirds, Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers are all "plotting moves" for the 24-year-old.
The attacker only joined the Grecians in January from Halifax Town and can play anywhere across the front line. He has mainly turned out on the left for the League One outfit.
He has one year left to run on his current contract and the club are said to be bracing themselves for summer interest in his services.
Alli scored 11 goals last term combined for Halifax and Exeter.

Phillips in talks
Liverpool's Nat Phillips is inching ever close to the exit door at Anfield, with the centre-back now in talks with Turkish giants Trabzonspor.
Phillips spent the second half of last season on loan in the Welsh capital and made a big impression both on and off the field.
Several clubs both at home and abroad have been tracking him, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now reporting negotiations are ongoing with the defender.
He said: "Nat Phillips to Trabzonspor is a concrete possibility, yes. Trabzonspor are in negotiations for Phillips; waiting for the player to decide."
Initial reports stated the Reds had placed an £8million price tag on Phillips' head, but that figure appears to have been revised to £5million, with Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reporting a bid has already been submitted - and rejected - by Liverpool. He added: "The first offer made by Trabzonspor was rejected. Liverpool wanted £5 million for Nathaniel Phillips."
Sky Sports subsequently confirmed the bid had been turned down.
Bulut on new coach
Meanwhile, Bulut says the arrival of new coach Omer Riza will help Cardiff with their goalscoring issues.
The Bluebirds struggled too many times in front of goal last season, a problem that prevented them from making progress and moving up the standings.
Riza, who joins from Watford, was a striker in his playing days for Denizlispor and Trabzonspor and Bulut hopes his experience will rub off on his strikers.
"I know him as a player from Turkey," he said.
"He played for Trabzonspor and for Denizlispor. Six years he has been in Turkish Super Lig. We never met before. I knew about him as an assistant with Watford, he's worked many years there.
"We had a meeting in London, I met him and discussed with him, I said last season we would add to our coaching staff, to improve, to make somethings better. I brought him, he is a striker, scoring goals, and last season we had small issues in finalising in the front part, so I think with this experience also, as a striker, so he can add many things to our players I hope."
