Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk was spotted partying with DJ Calvin Harris and Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne ahead of his return to Anfield this summer. The Dutchman was seen at Ushuaia reuniting with De Bruyne after their previous summer's jaunt to Ibiza, where they rubbed shoulders with the internationally renowned music superstar Harris.

The centre-back was granted an extended break this summer after competing at Euro 2024. The Reds' skipper has not returned to the pitch since his country lost 2-1 to England on Wednesday, July 10 in the semi-finals. As mentioned, this is not the first time Van Dijk and De Bruyne have been spotted together at a Harris gig.

Last July, Van Dijk and De Bruyne were joined by Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and City's Nathan Ake at the same venue for the Scottish musician's concert. On that occasion, the Dutchman was introduced to the crowd on stage for what he described as a 'crazy' birthday celebration.

The reunion comes as De Bruyne is reportedly keen on joining Al-Ittihad after expressing his desire to move to Saudi Arabia. A report over the weekend even claimed that the midfielder had agreed personal terms with Al-Ittihad - and negotiations are said to be ongoing between Al-Ittihad and City in regards to a transfer fee for the 33-year-old.

Meanwhile, Harris' connection with Liverpool dates further back than the captain's annual trip to the Balearic Islands. In June 2022, the 40-year-old performed as the Reds enjoyed an open-top bus parade through the city.

His track, One Kiss with Dua Lipa became an unofficial anthem for the fanbase after the singer performed it prior to the 2018 Champions League final in Kyiv against Real Madrid. While Liverpool lost on the night, the song has stuck with supporters and is now heard semi-regularly as part of the supporters' song sheet.
