Amad Diallo has said that he would consider staying at Manchester United "all my life" when he was asked about his future at the club during United's pre-season tour of the United States. The Ivorian winger's contract expires next summer, but there is an option to extend for a further year. He was ruled out for much of last season with a knee injury he sustained in pre-season.

Amad Diallo has revealed that he would consider staying at Manchester United for the rest of his career.
The Ivorian winger was asked about his future at the club on the Red Devils' pre-season tour of the United States, as he has entered the final year of his deal at Old Trafford.
There is an option to extend his contract for a further year, and Diallo has a point to prove to manager Erik ten Hag after missing much of last season through injury, which he sustained on last year's pre-season tour of the US, when they played Arsenal.
Diallo returned to the first-team fold in December against Nottingham Forest off the bench, and he scored a famous last-minute winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
United went on to win the trophy, beating Manchester City 2-1 in the final, although Diallo was an unused substitute at Wembley.
Diallo has had two loan moves away from Old Trafford during his stint at United - the first an unsuccessful spell at Rangers.
He then produced a breathtaking campaign with Sunderland in the Championship in 2022/23, scoring 13 goals in 37 games and winning the PFA Fans' Player of the Year award.
Asked about his future at Old Trafford, Diallo replied: "Yeah, why not [stay at United]? I'm very happy here.
"I think everyone is happy with me because I smile with everyone, good energy. Why not stay here all my life?"

The 22-year-old also spoke of his struggles while on the treatment table last term, but voiced his determination at forcing himself into Ten Hag's plans this time around.
"It was not easy for me to get an injury in pre-season last season," he said.
"I was out a long time but the most important thing was to come back stronger, to help the team and in the end I was happy with my contribution. I forgot the past and now I'm thinking about the present.
"I am so motivated to start the season, I'm so excited, I believe in the manager. Last season, I know didn't play a lot but this season is going to be a good season for everyone and I'm so motivated to start the season."
He noted the competition that he had for a starting berth on the flanks at Old Trafford, but emphasised the importance of giving everything to stake a claim for the shirt.

"I think everyone wants to play, that's why in the training you need to put everything in to fight and start in the XI," Diallo explained.
"Everyone wants to play. We have a good team, good players - Antony, [Jadon] Sancho, [Alejandro] Garnacho, [Marcus] Rashford - so the final [decision is with] the manager, who can decide who is on the pitch and who is on the bench.
"But when you don't play you need to be ready, you can see the game when you are on the bench. Everyone is important in the team."
