Germany international striker Niclas Fullkrug has joined West Ham United for an undisclosed fee. Fullkrug scored two goals in five games for Germany at Euro 2024 despite not starting, and netted 16 times for Borussia Dortmund in 46 appearances last term. The 31-year-old will be a welcome addition up front for West Ham, as new manager Julen Lopetegui looks to bolster the squad.

West Ham United have completed a deal for Germany international Niclas Fullkrug.
The striker, who scored two goals in five substitute appearances at Euro 2024, joins from Borussia Dortmund. He has penned a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
West Ham were reportedly keen on the 31-year-old last summer but he instead made a move to Dortmund.
One year later, the Hammers have secured his signature following a breakout season at the Bundesliga giants.
“I’m delighted to be here, and I can’t wait to get out on the pitch with my new teammates,” Fullkrug told the club's website.
“I think the Premier League is the best league in the world, and for me it is the right time to move over to England and play for a big club like West Ham.
“I have been thinking about West Ham for a long time now - I know the Technical Director Tim Steidten very well, because we have history at Werder Bremen together, and I have watched some games and seen how much quality there is in the team.
“The chance to play under the Head Coach [Lopetegui] is also really exciting. His playing style is important for me, and I am confident that under him I will be able to perform at my best, and score lots of goals.
“I love being close to supporters, and I’m really looking forward to meeting the West Ham fans. I have a very good feeling at the moment - I’m strong, fit and in shape - and I just want to get out there and start playing for them.”

Julen Lopetegui's Irons were keen to sign an out-and-out striker, with only Danny Ings and Michail Antonio currently filling that position, and bringing Fullkrug into the squad significantly adds to their threat up front.
Having risen through the ranks at Werder Bremen, he spent several years at other German clubs, including Hannover 96, before returning to his boyhood side.
After four more years at Werder Bremen, he joined Dortmund for £12.6 million, scoring 16 goals and registering 10 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions last season.
That campaign included a run to the UEFA Champions League final, which BVB lost to Real Madrid, and he was the club's second-highest goalscorer as they finished fifth in the German top flight.
Fullkrug also has 13 goals in 21 senior caps for the national side, making his debut in a friendly against Oman in November 2022, when he scored the winner.
He was called up to Germany's World Cup squad in 2022 and played a key role in Euro 2024, scoring two goals as a substitute before their quarter-final exit to Spain.
Lopetegui has been busy in his new role as Hammers boss, signing highly-rated young winger Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras, experienced keeper Wes Foderingham and Wolves centre-back Max Kilman.
Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville is also expected to make the move to east London imminently, as is Argentinian Guido Rodriguez.
Fullkrug's signing comes after the club abandoned a bid for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran when it became clear a deal with the Colombian was not on the cards.
