Lucas Digne has rubbished claims he has agreed to a transfer to Galatasaray.
The Aston Villa defender has been linked with a move to the Turkish giants this summer. Sports Digitale reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu claimed Galatasaray have “reached an agreement” with Digne in a post on social media platform X to his 1.4m followers.
He wrote: “Galatasaray reached an agreement with Lucas Digne and made an official offer to Aston Villa. Cenk Ergün started talks with Monchi.”

However, Digne quickly replied to the post on X. He wrote “Sorry but no true” followed by three laughing face emojis. Digne’s future at Villa Park has been questioned this summer, following the £37.5m arrival of Ian Maatsen from Chelsea.
