Premier League fans won't have to wait too long before they get to see their clubs back in action - as Manchester United's clash with Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday officially kicks off the 2024-25 season.

With the upcoming campaign in mind - read on as we take a look at who are the favourites with Sky Bet to win the league's Golden Boot this season.

Predictably, Manchester City's Erling Haaland is a short 8/13 favourite to be the league's top goalscorer for a third consecutive season.

Haaland's impact up front for the Sky Blues since joining two seasons ago has been nothing short of enormous - with the Norwegian netting an incredible 63 goals in the English top-flight to date.

Meanwhile, three-time Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah is a wider second-favourite at 10/1.

Although Salah had somewhat of an inconsistent season in 2023-24 when considering his lofty standards - the Egypt international still amassed 18 league goals in 32 appearances for the Reds.

Could Salah significantly improve on that with a full 38 games under his belt this campaign? Don't write the 32-year-old off yet.

Ollie Watkins and Alexander Isak are joint third-favourites in the market - with the pair priced at 14/1 with Sky Bet.

Watkins and Isak had breakout years for their respective clubs in 2023-24 - with them combining to score 40 league goals.

Lastly, for those after an outsider - Chelsea's Cole Palmer is a joint fourth-favourite at 18/1.

Palmer finished second in the race for the Golden Boot last season, with the 22-year-old scoring 22 goals for his west London club.

Couple that with his impressive showing in limited playing time at Euro 2024 - and Palmer could be a dark horse to watch in the market.
