Aston Villa manager Unai Emery says he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of his side's clash with Arsenal on Saturday (5:30pm kick-off).

After beating West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium on the opening weekend of the season, Villa host Mikel Arteta's side looking to win their opening two Premier League matches in a season for a fourth time, also doing so in 1995-96, 1999-00 and 2020-21.

Villa beat Arsenal twice last season, accounting for 40 per cent of the Gunners’ Premier League defeats. They’ve beaten Arsenal in three consecutive Premier League meetings twice before – November 1993 and February 2021.

Asked to give a team news update at his press conference this afternoon, Emery said: "Kamara is progressing a lot, I think it is now the sixth month since he has been injured and he had surgery.

"He is more or less coming back in a few weeks, training with us. Tyrone Mings is close to starting with the team. Now he is working alone, but he is feeling very good. We don’t have any more issues about injured players."

After beating Arsenal 1-0 back in December, Emery's side took a huge step towards Champions League qualification by doing the double over the Gunners in April, winning 2-0 at the Emirates.
