BILLY GILMOUR’S dream £14.5MILLION move to Italian giants Napoli could be a casualty of the horror tackle which put a halt to Matt O’Riley’s Brighton debut.
The 23-year-old Scotland star is widely expected to jet out to complete the sensational transfer ahead of Friday night’s deadline.

But Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler may have other thoughts if the update on O’Riley’s injury isn’t good.
Incredibly the referee didn’t even show a yellow card for the challenge which saw the midfielder leave the fray after just NINE minutes.
Record Scottish signing O’Riley is expected to undergo a scan today after the shocking tackle from captain Jay Williams which cut short O’Riley’s debut during the Premier League side’s 4-0 Carabao Cup win.
Dissent among the two simmered and boiled over towards the end when both Lindsey and Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler were booked by referee Alex Chilowicz, although the two exchanged a handshake at the finish.

Afterwards Lindsey said: “Maybe we were a bit aggressive, maybe the referee missed it [the challenge] and I would like to apologise.
“I wouldn’t want anyone to be hurt.
“We are both passionate about the game and we wish Brighton all the best in the next round.”
Former Rangers hero Ally McCoist was one man who was far from happy with the challenge.
