Ipswich Town's deal to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja has fallen through.
The Tractor Boys had agreed a loan move for the Albanian forward, with an obligation to buy Broja for £30m if they secured Premier League safety
However, a recent foot injury sustained by Broja during Chelsea training has put a stop to his move to Portman Road. The 22 year old travelled to Suffolk for a medical ahead of Ipswich's 4-1 defeat at Manchester City last weekend, but concerns were raised about the issue.

After further consultation, Kieran McKenna's side have decided to abandon the transfer. Broja has also attracted interest from Everton, Monaco and AC Milan among others this summer but could now stay at Chelsea until the January window despite being sidelined from the first-team picture.
Broja has only made 26 Premier League starts for Chelsea since joining as a youngster in 2009, and spent the second-half of last season on loan at Fulham, with Southampton being his temporary home in the 2021/22 season. A stint at Dutch club Vitesse also took place the season before where he scored 10 league goals for the club
Meanwhile, Ipswich have moved onto other targets with Crystal Palace's Odsonne Edouard believed to be a key name of interest.
The Tractor Boys would like to sign Edouard on an initial loan with a £20m purchase option but any deal would likely involve Crystal Palace triggering a one-year extension option within the striker's contract to protect his value as his current deal at Selhurst Park is up next summer.
It's more bad news for Ipswich because, despite being newly promoted from the Championship, the surprisingly place fifth in the rankings of the Premier League's most expensive pies, with a pie and a pint at the club's Portman Road ground costing a whopping £9.95.
