Arsenal's Jurrien Timber in training ground bust-up with ex-Man Utd star Wout Weghorst
Jurrien Timber and Wout Weghorst were involved in a heated bust-up while away on international duty with the Netherlands and manager Ronald Koeman was forced to intervene
Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was involved in an altercation with former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst while on international duty.
The pair are currently away with the Netherlands and featured off the bench as Ronald Koeman's side beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-2 in the Nations League on Saturday. The Netherlands will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Germany in Amsterdam.
However, while holding a training session ahead of that game, Timber and Weghorst had a heated clash that saw Koeman forced to intervene. In a clip shared on social media, Timber can be seen tackling Weghorst and the striker immediately goes down complaining about the challenge.
The pair then exchange words, with Koeman stepping in to try and defuse the situation. "I said something to you, I said something to them," Koeman reportedly said.

Although the 32-year-old did finish the training session, he remained visibly annoyed by the incident and very quickly left as soon as it was over.
The clash comes after Koeman was forced to defend Matthijs de Ligt over his performance against Bosnia, with the United defender at fault for both of the goals they conceded. However, Koeman insisted the errors was not a "big deal".
When asked about De Ligt, Koeman said: "He himself realises that he was in the wrong position. This should not happen, but mistakes are part of football. I think it is unfair to make a big deal out of it."
De Ligt, though, was hugely critical of his own performance and branded it "f****d" after the game. He said: "I think you know how I feel, we won but then comes the individual part. I should have done better at their second goal, and I know that.
"I don't really know what happened.. I should have cleared the ball but I kept having doubts during the play. It's just f****d. If this game is a missed opportunity for me? I don't know, I just try to do my best."
