The former Chelsea man only moved to the Light Blues at the start of last season, penning a four-year deal to keep him in Glasgow until at least 2027. But the 24-year-old has proved to be a key squad asset thanks to his versatility with current boss Philippe Clement using him in a variety of positions and Sterling has now been rewarded with an improved contract at Ibrox.

The Englishman made 36 appearances in his first season and scored one goal which came in the 2-2 Europa League draw away to Benfica. He has featured 10 times this season but has had injury issues.
