Fulham took a shock lead against Manchester City - but all eyes were on Raul Jimenez's assist.

The Mexican has looked back to his best in recent weeks, and with confidence oozing out of him, the Fulham star attempted an audacious backheel against the Champions.

City's defence were stunned at the pure cheek of the striker, forgetting about an onrushing Andreas Pereira at the back stick - who nodded the ball past a scrambling Ederson to send the Cottagers into the lead.

Fulham's lead didn't last too long - although they could have doubled it through Adama Traore - as Mateo Kovacic levelled the game in the 32nd minute.

"When you have got a chances to score against City you have got to have the finish it," Dion Dublin said on Final Score. "Adama Traore has got to lift it over the keeper, but he got it all wrong."

Fulham had cleared the corner, but the ball dropped to Kovacic, who, 15-yards out, slammed the ball into the roof of the net. Bernd Leno was left with no chance as City fired level - who dropped to four points behind league-leaders Liverpool after the Reds' victory over Palace.
