‘No wonder he doesn’t play for us’ say Celtic fans as they blast fringe star for two howlers against Sligo Rovers

CELTIC fans have taken aim at one of their fringe stars after he produced a couple of howlers against Sligo Rovers.
Brendan Rodgers' men travelled over to the north of Ireland to take on John Russell's side at The Showgrounds in a mid-season friendly this week as competitive football was put on hold for the international break.
Celtic fielded a relatively strong side with first team stars Alex Valle, Yang Hyun-jun, Luke McCowan and Maik Nawrocki all handed a start.
Stephen Welsh was named as captain, while Luis Palma was given the nod after he turned down the chance to represent his country to keep fighting for his place under Rodgers.
And the Honduran made a quick impact in the match as he slotted the ball home to open the scoring after getting on the end of Yang's cross into the box.
But the Hoops' lead didn't last long as Sligo equalised just minutes later following a huge blunder from Scott Bain.

Kaolin Barlow decided to test the back-up keeper from just outside the box with a lofted shot, which looked like a simple save for Bain to deal with.
But the goalie seemed to be in two minds over whether to catch it or punch it clear and ended up doing neither as he somehow parried it over his head and into his own net.
Things only got worse for the 32-year-old as he was at fault for the hosts' second goal too.
Just five minutes later, Simon Power decided to have a pop of his own from long range and managed to beat Bain after it flew under his arms and out of his reach.
