Ross Graham set for injury layoff with Dundee Utd missing key man for crucial October run-in
The centre back has impressed at Tannadice this season but is now set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in the win over St Mirren
Dundee United have been hit with another injury blow as Ross Graham could be out for four weeks.
The on-form defender was substituted in the win at St Mirren with a hamstring issue. The United medical team thought they had got him off early enough but scans have confirmed that it is worse than first feared. Manager Jim Goodwin is now expecting to be without the 23-year-old until next month.
It is likely Graham will miss the home games with Hibs and Motherwell, the Easter Road return and the visit of Aberdeen. Graham, if he responds well to treatment, could come back for the home game against County or United might decide to err on the side of caution and wait until after the international break in November. Goodwin has not had his troubles to see with injuries of late.
Summer signing Ryan Strain is currently still on the road to recovery after hamstring surgery. Winger Kristijan Trapanovski is also likely to be out for another three weeks with a hamstring injury, which has cost him his place in the North Macedonia squad.
