Iliman Ndiaye is said to have missed two days training as 'concern' over his injury builds. The Everton forward hobbled out of Senegal's 4-0 win over Malawi last week.

The 24-year-old has been the Blues' standout performer this term after joining from Marseille in the summer. However, fears were raised on Friday when footage emerged of Ndiaye in discomfort as he left the field after 65 minutes.

According to Wiw Sports (h/t Sport Witness), the Everton star has not trained over the weekend as he has 'not recovered from an ankle problem'. Ndiaye is said to be under the supervision of the Senegal medical staff at the team hotel and is unlikely to start against Malawi when his nation play again on Tuesday.

It's added that interim manager Pape Thiaw will share a new update on Monday afternoon at his pre-match press conference.

Everton will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any developments, as any issue for Ndiaye would represent a huge blow to manager Sean Dyche.

The Senegal international has provided a creative and entertaining spark to what has been an otherwise one-dimensional Everton attack. Operating on the left flank, his dribbling talent and unpredictability has been one of the few high points for supporters.

The Blues have a huge game this weekend too, when they visit newly-promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday.
