Hello and welcome to live updates of the FA Cup first round draw. The Liverpool ECHO will have you covered at every step with the clock ticking down to a 7pm start.
It's one of the most exciting parts of the season - for many clubs - as they start their campaigns in the oldest cup competition in the world. Tranmere Rovers will hope it's the start of a memorable cup run.
They will hope that the cup provides a welcome distraction for what has been a testing run of form in League Two after a 2-0 defeat against Bradford in their last outing. Clubs involved in the draw will be hoping to make it through to at least the third round of the competition.
That's when the big boys from the Premier League and Championship enter.
The draw will throw up the possibility of a first round against a League One or League Two team. It could also see Tranmere drawn against one of the qualifying non-league sides.
