IT'S already been a somewhat chaotic build-up to Rangers' Europa League clash with FCSB.

And now the Romanian side's plans have been thrown into chaos after enduring travel issues in their bid to reach Glasgow.

It's sure to be an interesting atmosphere at Ibrox with Rangers fans far from happy with what's going on at the club.

Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock left them trailing league leaders Celtic and Aberdeen by six points, with the pressure ramping up on manager Philippe Clement.

Thursday's next continental showdown provides Clement and his players with a quick chance to bounce back.

Ahead of that game, cocky FCSB owner Gigi Becali has been attempting to pile the pressure further on Rangers.

He's brazenly already NAMED the FCSB team that will face the Gers - despite not being the manager - having previously boasted about fielding a weakened team for the Ibrox clash.

Becali continued his Gers taunting yesterday by issuing a bizarre challenge to Clement.

He said: "Let's see how smart he is."

But after trying to make Rangers' preparations as chaotic as possible, it seems like FCSB's own build-up to the game has now been thrown into chaos.

That's because Romanian news outlets are reporting that they've been in the midst of travel chaos this morning.

Fanatik say that the aircraft due to transport FCSB's players and staff from Bucharest to Glasgow ended up breaking down.

As a result, it NEVER arrived in Romania - instead being stuck in the Slovak capital Bratislava.

The FCSB - formerly known as Steaua Bucharest - contingent were supposed to take off at 9am UK time but instead ended up stuck where they were.

It has meant FCSB chiefs have been scrambling to charter another flight to take them to Glasgow ahead of tomorrow night's game.

An ultimate solution has yet to be confirmed, but it's been suggested by other Romanian outlets that they may now take off two hours late.

Whether or not that's on the initially slated aircraft having been fixed or a different plane remains to be seen.

The club's pre-match press conference was scheduled to be held at Ibrox at 6pm - but it's already been pushed back an hour.
