Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has expressed his love for the versatility within his squad - citing Renato Veiga as one of the prime examples in that regard.
The Blues made it two wins in two in the UEFA Conference League as they dispatched Panathinaikos 4-1 in Greece. The overriding tournament favourites scored an eighth goal in two European matches - following on from their win over KAA Gent previously.
Chelsea's embarrassment of riches was on show against Greek opponents - and the Premier League giants ensured that there would be no shock result. Joao Felix scored twice with Mykhalio Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku also on the scoresheet with the Frenchman's spot-kick rounding off the scoring.
Maresca, so far, has dismissed any pre-season concerns over his suitability in the Stamford Bridge hotseat after a strong start to his Chelsea tenure. They sit well in the hunt for Champions League qualification, sitting two points adrift of the top-four, as well as looking in fine fettle in the Conference League.
In that competition, it is FC Noah, Heidenheim, Astana and Shamrock Rovers to come - with Newcastle United up next for them in the Premier League.

Chelsea's spending in the transfer window has been well-documented and the rewards are, seemingly, now being reaped by the former Leicester City boss. Speaking on Thursday, he expressed his love for the squad at his disposal.
Maresca said: "Renato, I just said to him inside the changing room, he has played as a centre-back, full-back, as the holding midfielder, attacking midfielder. I said the reason why I love Chelsea is because many players are versatile. It is better for the team and for the players.
"If you just play one position; I don't think it's enough. You need to learn to play more positions."
