Leicester City have sacked manager Steve Cooper after just five months in charge.
Cooper leaves with the club 16th in the Premier League table after 12 games, two points above the relegation zone.
They have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions, including a 2-1 home loss to Chelsea on Saturday in front of the TNT Sports cameras.
Cooper signed a three-year deal in the summer when he took over from Enzo Maresca.
He is the second Premier League manager to leave their role this season following Erik ten Hag's departure from Manchester United.
A statement from Leicester said: "Leicester City Football Club has parted company with Steve Cooper, who leaves his position as first team manager with immediate effect.
"Assistant manager Alan Tate and first team coach and analyst Steve Rands have also left the club. Steve, Alan and Steve depart with our thanks for their contribution during their time with the club and with our best wishes for the future.
"Men’s first team training will be overseen by first team coach Ben Dawson, supported by coaches Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes, as the club begins the process of appointing a new manager, which we hope to conclude as soon as possible."
Leicester’s next fixture is against Brentford on Saturday, November 30.
Cooper took over at Leicester after they were promoted to the Premier League as Championship winners under now-Chelsea boss Maresca.

He had been sacked from his previous role as Nottingham Forest manager in December 2023, after leading the club to promotion from England's second tier.
The Foxes were not given a penalty when Wesley Fofana appeared to bring down Stephy Mavididi in the box.
They were then given a spot-kick in injury-time by the video assistant referee (VAR), which Jordan Ayew converted but could not spark a comeback.
