Liverpool will have one player unavailable for their next Premier League clash due to suspension. The Reds take on Everton in the Merseyside Derby on Saturday afternoon as they aim to return to winning ways.
Arne Slot's team dropped points at the hands of Newcastle United in midweek after they were held to a 3-3 draw at St James' Park. The stalemate leaves Liverpool seven points clear of Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League table, as well as nine ahead of Manchester City.
The game on Tyneside saw Alexis Mac Allister pick up a yellow card for a foul on Fabian Schar in the first half. The booking was a fifth of the season in the top flight for the Argentina international, which means he will serve a one-match suspension and miss Saturday's trip to Goodison Park.
Mac Allister is the first Liverpool player to serve a suspension for amassing five yellow cards in the Premier League this season. The threshold will increase to 10 bookings after the 19th league fixture, which will officially mark the halfway point of the campaign.

The next five games will see the Reds face Everton, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and West Ham.
At the moment, Ryan Gravenberch is the Liverpool player most in danger of being handed a suspension. The Netherlands international has four yellow cards in the top flight, meaning he must avoid being booked in the next five games in order to avoid a one-match ban.
Ibrahima Konate is also on four yellow cards in the Premier League this season. However, the France international is sidelined with injury and is not expected to return for a few more weeks, meaning he is unlikely to return until after the threshold increases following the clash against West Ham on December 29.
There are currently four Liverpool players on three yellow cards - Trent Alexander-Arnold, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai. Two more bookings across the next five games for either of the quartet would see them serve a one-game suspension, just like Mac Allister.
