David Raum has already told Manchester United what they want to hear amid transfer link
The latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip as RB Leipzig defender David Raum continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
RB Leipzig star David Raum has already hinted that he might be open to a move to the Premier League amid links to Manchester United.
United have recently been credited with an interest in signing Raum, either in the January transfer window or next summer. According to Sky Germany, United are monitoring the versatile defender having previously held "concrete talks" to bring the player to Old Trafford.
It has been reported that United view Raum as a "very good fit" for Ruben Amorim's squad. Raum operates at left-back for Leipzig, a position which has seen several players linked in recent months, amid long-term concerns over Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Weeks before the links concerning Raum and United emerged, the Leipzig defender spoke honestly about his future at the Bundesliga club. The 26-year-old went on to offer a hint that a move to United in the future is not outside the realms of possibility.
"No, not at all. There's no discussion, nothing," said Raum on the Phrasenmäher podcast last month.
"I can say that honestly - and that's why it's not an issue for me at all."
Raum added: "But you know how it is in football. I feel extremely comfortable here and see my future in Leipzig.
"[But] I also said that the Premier League might be a dream and a big goal at some point."
United currently have Shaw and Malacia as two left-back options in their squad, although the former is currently side-lined after suffering another injury blow. Amorim has utilised Malacia and Diogo Dalot in the left wing-back position this season, which is where Raum would be expected to play if he did eventually touch down at the club.
