Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim insists Leny Yoro is "ready" to make his first start for the club after being included in the starting line-up for the visit of Nottingham Forest this teatime.

After stepping off the bench to make his United bow during Wednesday night's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, the 19-year-old has been rewarded with a place in the starting XI for the very first time.

He is expected to start on the right of the back-three, joining forces with Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in the defence. The Frenchman is one of four players to have been drafted into the XI by Amorim.

Amorim, speaking to MUTV, said: "He is a special talent, he is very grown up for his age.

"I think him playing at home with our supporters is a good way for him to start in the first-team. He is ready, he is a talent and his teammates will help him a lot during the game."

Yoro becomes the 22nd player to start in just five matches under Amorim, highlighting the Portuguese chief's ongoing desire to rotate his pack. He insists his rotation policy is currently absolutely necessary.

"We have to do it," Amorim added. "Also, we arrived at the time where a lot of players have been returning, so we have to rotate the players.

"Also, for them to understand during training what to do. If we play with the same team all the time, they just have time to recover and don't learn anything. We have to rotate and in the future we will see a different thing."
