Cole Palmer is one of the most exciting talents in world football at the moment and he surged into second in the Premier League scoring charts with two goals in a memorable 4-3 win at Tottenham Hotspur.

The English forward slotted home two penalties against his side's London rivals on Sunday, with the second being an audacious Panenka kick past a stranded Fraser Forster.

The brace took Palmer to 11 goals from 15 league matches this season, leaving him behind only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah in the scoring stakes with both on 13.

He has been among the Premier League's most in-form players since joining the Blues in summer 2023, striking 36 times in that period, and with that in mind Sky Bet have decided to install him among the favourites to lift the Golden Boot.
