Man United star Bruno Fernandes delivers one-word Mason Mount verdict after Viktoria Plzen
The latest Manchester United news as the midfielder was a second half substitute in the 2-1 Europa League win.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has delivered his verdict on Mason Mount’s appearance in the Europa League clash against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday evening.
Mount was named on the bench for the match in the Czech Republic, but entered the pitch in the second half with his side 1-0 down thanks to Matej Vydra’s opener just after the break. Just a minute after Mount entered the pitch, Rasmus Hojlund equalised for United.
The striker was on the scoresheet again two minutes from the end of normal time to turn the game on its head for United. Mount has mainly been used from the bench by Ruben Amorim since his arrival at Old Trafford, although he has had two starts, against Bodo/Glimt and Arsenal.

Following the win over Plzen, Mount took to social media to send a message. Sharing pictures of himself before the during the game, he wrote: “Head down - onto Sunday.”
That message prompted a response from some of his United teammates. Harry Maguire posted two clapping emojis in the comments section, while Hojlund posted a chess piece emoji.
Fernandes played the full 90 minutes of the game. He simply replied with: “Class,” and a clapping emoji, suggesting he was impressed with Mount’s latest cameo.
Mount will hope that he has impressed enough to earn himself a recall to the starting lineup for Sunday’s Manchester derby against Manchester City. United travel to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm kick-off).
Pep Guardiola’s side are currently in a poor run of form. A 2-0 Champions League loss against Juventus on Wednesday night means that they have won just one of their last 10 games in all competitions.
