Vitor Pereira a huge odds-on favourite to be the next Wolves manager - as the Midlands club look for a replacement following Gary O'Neill's sacking

Wolves' poor campaign continued over the weekend - with the Midlands club losing 2-1 to a fellow struggling side Ipswich Town.

It marked their eleventh loss of the season - and as a result - Wolves are 19th in the table and are currently five points adrift of safety.

Because of their struggles - the club parted ways with manager Gary O'Neill after just shy of 18 months in the role.

It is Vitor Pereira who is overwhelmingly tipped to be O'Neill's replacement according to Sky Bet - with the Al Shabab manager priced at a short 1/6 to take over at Molineux Stadium.

Pereira has never managed in the Premier League before - however - he was heavily linked to Everton in 2022 before they appointed club legend Frank Lampard.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a second-favourite - with the Norwegian valued at 8/1 odds.

If you're after an outsider in the market - Carlos Corberan, David Moyes and John Eustace round out the five best-backed managers in the market - with all three priced at 12/1.

Sky Bet favourites to be the next Wolves manager:

Vitor Pereira 1/6

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 8/1

Carlos Corberan 12/1

David Moyes 12/1

John Eustace 12/1
