Stewart is a regular at Celtic Park, but with the match taking place at Ibrox today, the 79-year-old was tuning in from home.

And he shared a picture taken of himself and his son Alistair on his Instagram account, with Rod watching the television and Alistair pulling a fist pump pose.

Stewart captioned the picture "Three points please."

The pair are sat in a luxurious-looking living room to take in the meeting of Scotland's top two teams.

Stewart has previously revealed that he would have loved to play for Celtic, as would Alistair, but that he wouldn't say no to playing a third gig at Ibrox.

He said: "[Alistair] would give his right arm [to play for Celtic] - and so would I!

"People still rub it in that I played Ibrox twice, but it was different in those days.

"I would do it again if I was asked.
