Celtic full-back Greg Taylor’s future ‘priority’ outlined as contract runs down and Hoops eye return for Kieran Tierney

GREG TAYLOR has his heart set on STAYING at Celtic - despite being able to talk to other clubs.
That's according to a report on the Hoops left-back's future as his contract expires.
The Sunday Mail says the defender's 'priority' is to stay at Celtic - in the face of other interest from England and Dinamo Zagreb, and the Hoops on-going pursuit of Kieran Tierney.
We exclusively broke the news on December 18 that Brendan Rodgers was lining up an emotional move for the Arsenal defender.
And that might eventually weigh on Taylor's decision according to the latest report.
But it also claims he has made it his ''priority' to stay at Parkhead until the end of the season, no matter what.
Reports in Croatia said he had told Hoops officials he wanted to leave and move abroad.
But this evening's report flies in the face of those claims.
It says he has 'no desire' to leave the club he joined from Kilmarnock five seasons ago.
Boss Brendan Rodgers has not hidden his own desire to keep the Scotland international either.
He insisted he hadn't forgotten about his expiring contract back in the summer when quizzed on the club's tour of USA.
And he spoke out about Taylor directly in November, saying: "If it’s not going to happen then, OK, we know that. We can then plan and prepare going forwards. But I really hope it doesn’t get to that because I love working with Greg.
“I can’t tell you how influential he is off the pitch and how good he’s been on the pitch for this club with his consistency and within how we play.
“I really hope we can do something. I really, really like him. He’s such a good guy. He loves being here.
“He’s a big voice in the changing room. Every single day in training, he’s so good. He’s focused."
The 27-year-old got married to childhood sweetheart Laura during the summer at a lavish bash attended by Hoops team-mates past and present.
The couple are now expecting their first baby together.
But the dad to be is now in the last six months of his Hoops deal and free to discuss his options with other clubs.
Last week we reported how new Dinamo Zagreb boss Fabio Cannavaro had targeted the Scotland international as he goes head-to-head with former Rangers midfielder Rino Gattuso, who is in charge at Hajduk Split, for the Croatian title.
Taylor is not the only transfer link for the new boss though.
His side has also been linked with another left-back with an SPFL background - Trabzonspor's Borna Barisic.
