Arsenal’s players sent stricken team-mate Gabriel Jesus a message with matching shirts ahead of Wednesday’s North London derby against Tottenham.
Jesus was ruled out for the rest of the season this week after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during Sunday’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
The Brazilian was stretchered off at the Emirates, but his team-mates were quick to offer their support ahead of kick-off against Spurs.
The Gunners players came out onto the pitch wearing matching shirts featuring Jesus’ name and number. Arsenal would go on to claim an important 2-1 win over their rivals.
The shirts also had the message "Stay Strong Gabby" in capital letters emblazoned on the back.
Jesus, a popular figure in the Arsenal squad, had scored seven goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season before his injury.

A club statement said: "Further to being substituted during our match with Manchester United on Sunday, Gabriel Jesus has received extensive assessments, scans and specialist reviews which have confirmed that he has sustained an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
"Gabby will undergo surgery in the coming days and will soon begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme.
"We will continue to keep everyone updated with Gabby’s recovery, with everyone at the club fully focused on supporting Gabby to ensure he is back to full fitness as soon as possible."
The loss of the former Manchester City forward left Mikel Arteta short on attacking options ahead of the clash with Spurs, with star winger Bukayo Saka also sidelined following hamstring surgery.
