Manchester United have not made a single senior signing or sale as we approach the three-week mark in the January transfer window.

Time is running out for INEOS to get things moving for manager Ruben Amorim, who needs recruits to strengthen his 3-4-3 system. Sales will be required for United to spend while remaining on the right side of PSR, and while there are several candidates to make way, fans are still waiting for the agreement which could prove to be the trigger point for other deals to follow.

Here, Express Sport brings you three of the biggest United transfer developments in the past 24 hours...

Tyrell Malacia reaches exit agreement

Tyrell Malacia has struck an agreement with Manchester United to leave the club on loan this month, according to Voetbal International. The 25-year-old has made five appearances since returning from a knee injury which kept him out of action for well over a year.

And Amorim is seemingly unconvinced, with Diogo Dalot playing ahead of him on his weaker side.

United are now believed to be exploring the market for Malacia's loan destination, and reports in the Netherlands claim that he is 'close to an agreement with a new club'. The Red Devils then hope to sign a replacement, which brings us neatly onto our next story...

Rayan Ait-Nouri eyed

United have pinpointed Wolves star Ait-Nouri as a candidate to bolster their options at left wing-back, according to The Independent. The 23-year-old can play in a variety of positions and has demonstrated his threat going forward this season, with eight goal contributions in 20 Premier League games for the relegation strugglers.

Amorim's first-choice target is believed to be Nuno Mendes. But with Paris Saint-Germain demanding a high price for the ex-Sporting player, United may be forced to pursue Ait-Nouri instead.

Antony loan condition set

Real Betis have been the front-runners to sign Antony since the start of the January transfer window. Amorim has barely used him since taking over from Erik ten Hag, and club chiefs are reportedly keen for the Brazilian to play elsewhere in order to boost his market value.

Talks between United and Betis have ramped up this week, according to ABC Sevilla. But the move is only expected to progress on one condition: United covering a chunk of Antony's £200,000-a-week wages to get him off the books.
