MOTHERWELL have booted-out bids for Lennon Miller.

The 18-year old sensation has been linked with a whole host of clubs - and now one interested party has made their move.

Miller burst onto the scene aged just 16 in 2022 and has been a regular for Motherwell ever since.

Despite his young age, he's even captained Well regularly this season.

After a stellar first half of the campaign, Miller is currently sidelined after sustaining an ankle injury at the very end of December.

But that hasn't stopped the transfer interest.

Celtic and Rangers have both been linked, as well as English giants including Liverpool and Manchester United.

There's been plenty of interest from the continent too and it's a European club who have made their move.

Serie A outfit Udinese have made TWO offers, both of which have been kicked out.

It's understood, however, that the Italian club will be back with an improved offer of £3m as they attempt to tempt Motherwell

Previous reports have suggested that the Steelmen want a club record fee for Miller, with a figure of £4m touted.

That would eclipse the £3.5m the club received from Celtic for David Turnbull.

Miller, son of former Scotland striker Lee, had made 19 league appearances for Well this season.

He's also been capped by Scotland at youth level, earning five under-21 caps since making his debut at that level last year.

Speaking after Udinese's reported interest became apparent, Motherwell chief executive Brian Caldwell confirmed 'a couple' of offers had been turned down.

He also insisted that there's no desire or need for Well to cash in on Miller at this time.

Caldwell said: "To be bluntly truthful on this, we've had a couple of offers from a club who are miles away from the valuation of what we would deem Lennon Miller to be selling.

"We are not desperate to sell the player.

"We've always said from day one, it's got to be right for Lennon, it's got to be right for the football club and we're not going to accept any kind of offer.

"Lennon Miller is statistically, I believe, in the top seven players in the world for his age for midfield players, so he's an exceptional talent - we all know that.

"And, if and when Lennon does move, it will be for the right price for us and it will be right for Lennon Miller at the same time."
